"I thoroughly enjoy core stability classes. Over the past twelve months I've found that it has improved my overall level of fitness, has helped my pelvic floor no end (a definite plus after having three children!), has taken approximately two inches off my waistline and provided an all round good work out! Who'd have believed you could do so much with a ball?! General levels of fitness when you start don't matter; you can make it as hard or as easy as you want. Aside from the fitness aspect, I've also made some new friends."

These classes focus on developing the core muscles of your body. Strengthen and stabilise this set of muscles and you'll improve your posture, reduce your chances of injury and back pain. It's also great fun!

Vintage Circuits - Tuesday 4.40-5.40pm Come and join us!Due to popular demand, a new older adult circuit class has started on Tuesdays, 4.40pm at the Methodist Hall, Cockermouth. The class caters for a mix of abilities from those who are fit and totally mobile, to those who are less mobile and need chair-based exercises. We are doing similar exercises to those that we do on a Friday morning but in a completely different format. The class has the same easy going light hearted atmosphere as on Fridays.

Vintage Circuits - Friday 10.30-11.30am
Meet in the Methodist Church Hall, Lorton Street, Cockermouth. Exercise for those who've reached a fine maturity! Current ages range from early 50s to mid 80s. Enjoy exercising in good company under the guidance of Sam. Recovering from or managing an illness such as diabetes, angina or osteoporosis? Don't worry you're not alone, come and join us!
